Livizzano is a quiet hamlet below San Cassiano. I took advantage of a rare sunny day to walk through the tiny village.
Of course the views from the village are gorgeous.
The church in San Cassiano looks over the village.
There are some pretty houses in Livizzano.
I found a few renovators’ delights for you.
There are some lovely old paths to be followed when the ground dries out after all the rain we have had.
I love the old tiled roofs.
House and garden decorations are many and varied.
The village cats were enjoying the sun.
Spring is just around the corner. In a couple of weeks these trees will be bright green with new leaves.
All of the Controneria region is beautiful. I think that there will be plenty of flowers around with all the rain that has fallen!
I can’t wait for spring and some sunshine.
Looks so peaceful!
It is a beautiful area and very peaceful.
Debra,
Once again you have made my day brighter, the peace, and calm of your photos sooth my soul. Thank you for the beautiful cats, especially the one with hazel eyes.
The cats were enjoying their moment in the sun.
so beautiful and cats so lovely… fascinated me all these photographs. Thank you, love, nia
Livizzano is a very peaceful place.
I arrive 17th April! The excitement is immense! 🙂
I look forward to meeting you.
Debra,
Thanks for the great pictures of Lugnano (Monti di Villa). We have a home there and look forward to going back whenever we can.
