Pieve di Monti di Villa has a restaurant, Rifugio Fiori, which is open part time.

It also has a bar, a great addition to the village.

  1. Thank you for sharing Paul’s pictures with us. Through his lens, he surely captures the words of a poem: “Season of mists and mellow fruitfulness…”

  2. Thank you again, Paul, for your gorgeous photos capturing the village that has my heart and the house that is waiting for our return. We cannot wait to get back there.

  3. Thank you for all your nice comments ! This was my first “walk through” Pieve MDV , but I will certainly go again in the future. It is a lovely small village. I didn’t see many locals , but those who saw me all said ” Buongiorno” with a smile , great to see in this day and age. Unfortunately the Rifugio was closed as it was a Thursday , but I have eaten there before and had really lovely food , so well worth a stop if anybody has not been.
As Debra has said please don’t forget the “Presepe Vivente” on Sunday the 4th of December , it is well worth a visit a certainly gets everybody in the ” Christmas Spirit”. Food and drinks are available on site !
