A light dusting of snow has fallen at Ponte a Serraglio. I’m not there to see it, but my friends sent me some photos to share with you. I remember how excited I was the first time I saw snow fall on my balcony. The locals might find it a pest, but it is fun when you are used to a sub tropical climate.
Thanks Kendall, Allan and Ella for sharing your photos. I have been transported from rain in Brisbane to snow at Ponte a Serraglio.
We had some serious snow last year. Click here and here to see the photos.
We like a bit of snow – one year it was so deep we had to dig the car out – Christmas 2009 it was
It is fun to have snow occasionally. I’m sure it would become a pest after a while, but it makes everything look so pretty.
Looks very a beautiful wonderland
I wish I was there to see it.
We would have loved to see snow when we were staying in the village but I guess it would have made it much more difficult to get around. Still, as we don’t get snow here in WA it would have been lovely to experience.
At least you got a little taste of it in Montefegatesi. The snow doesn’t usually last very long at Ponte, but it is lovely while it does.
Lovely photos. Thank you for sharing them.
Ponte does look pretty with snow. Perhaps there will be some when I get there in February.
They’re great photos. Really brings Ponte to life.
I like the winter glow and the lights, you could almost be there.
The evening shots are particularly lovely. I am lucky to have friends with a camera.
I like the effect of the dusk and lights when there is snow – it does bring out the inner child I find but then when things get slushy and difficult the outer adult returns!
Wet sloppy snow is no fun, but the crisp white stuff looks great.
snow for us when we both get there in February Deb would be great
It snowed in February last year, so there is a chance.
It’s true!! We are like little children when it comes to seeing snow in Italy!!! I think it makes the most picturesque villages indescribably beautiful!!! I’m so glad you have your spotters on the job!
I love it when it snows. I really wish I was there. With a bit of luck it will snow again when I get there in February.

Wow! Love it! Familiar places but with a dusting of snow….BEAUTIFUL!
Snow makes everything look wonderful. I hope there is more when I get there in February.
Hi Deb. Would it be OK with you if I re blog this one. I would like my friends to see “my” special village in winter. Thanks Lyn
Go right ahead. It is great to share Ponte a Serraglio.

This is the special village that I stayed in May and June this year. It was stunning then and now a winter wonderland Lyn
