Auser, the excellent shop for pre-loved items in Ponte a Serraglio has just been stocked with great things for Christmas.
There is also a new collection of household items to choose from.
You will find the shop in Ponte a Serraglio on the road towards Bagni di Lucca Villa, on the river side.
All proceeds from Auser go to charity.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 10.00 – 12.00 and 15.00 – 18.00
We need to be reminded regularly that we have a great shop in Ponte a Serraglio that sells excellent pre-loved items for your home. Anyone setting up home in Bagni di Lucca is bound to find lots of treasures.
I think you will agree that the shop is arranged very well. Congratulations to the team of people who keep this running. Best of all, the money from sales goes to help families in need.

Ponte a Serraglio has an excellent preloved homewares shop run by Auser. I am constantly surprised by the range and quality of the items on offer. The hand crocheted table cloth in the first photo is now mine.
The goods are all donated and the proceeds go to people who need a bit of help.

What is “L’Ape Swap”?
It’s a fun aperitivo associated with the exchange of clothes and books.
How does it work?
For the clothing and /or books you bring, the staff will assign a value that corresponds to a sticker. You can use this sticker to “purchase” other items.
What to bring?
Bring a maximum of three clothing items and/or books. Make sure the clothes are washed and in good condition.
When to deliver?
To streamline the process, it’s recommended to bring the items on Sunday 5th May, starting at 2pm directly to the wine shop, Cantabruna in Fornoli.
Ape Swap Baratto e Vino is a sustainable aperitivo associated with the exchange of clothing and books. It is organised by the municipality of Bagni di Lucca in collaboration with Auser. Its goal is to raise awareness about circularity, reuse, and to counter the phenomenon of waste.

A collaboration with Fiorina Shop from La Villa and Auser in Ponte a Serraglio will present a Fashion Parade at the stunning Villa Ada swimming pool on Sunday 6th August. The first Miss Verona will chosen on the evening. Call 333 1989 972 for more information.
Crasciana has lots going on in August.

The Community Centre was opened yesterday in the old theatre in Ponte a Serraglio.
There lots of books, activities, computers and more…all done by a team from Auser and the Comune.
A lot of work has been done to set up the room.
For the next couple of weeks there will be art by 2 local artists on display. Open in the afternoon from 5.00 for a couple of hours.
There is something for everyone here. I hope lots of people visit. Formal hours are still being worked out.
Auser has a group of excellent shops nearby..preloved home wares. It looks like a well set up antique shop.
There is a preloved clothing shop.
There is also a place where you can have alterations done or use a sewing machine.

Ponte a Serraglio has an excellent pre-loved clothing shop. It is part of the Auser group. It is on the road between the Piazza in Ponte a Serraglio and La Villa.
There is a wonderful selection of clothing and accessories…a great addition to Ponte a Serraglio.
There is a small shop opposite the wonderful pre-loved emporium in Via Vittorio Emanuele in Ponte a Serraglio. For a small donation you are welcome to have small sewing jobs done, or get some help with your own sewing projects.
The very experienced Latifa is on hand with help and advice and there are sewing machines available for use.
When clothing items are donated to the Auser group some are past being wearable. In some cases the cloth is able to be used along with buttons and zips. The wonderful volunteers collect the usable pieces and put them to use to make new items.
They are making carry bags, other small items. There are also Christmas decorations available right now. Latifa is in the shop on Tuesday and Saturday to tell you all about what is on offer.
