It needs to be used more and promoted for events creating some revenue to maintain it.
I do see a bit of activity there. Covid hasn’t helped over the last 18 months. Let’s hope things improve next year.

It is used for events and functions. There was a large wedding celebration there recently. It is beautiful inside.
These buildings require a lot of maintenance. Great to hear that it is done.
There are many wonderful old buildings in Bagni di Lucca that need attention, the casino is just one.
It was renovated last in 2000, Jubilee year, as many buildings were, including the charming bath building with quaint ‘hats’ above Villa and the one on the road from Ponte up to Terme. My husband gave a concert in a magnificent room in the Casino soon after. Sadly, the exterior fabric of buildings deteriorates quickly in the damp winters. I’ve never seen those particular baths in operation either, also a great shame..
I was here when the interior was renovated. It was very well done. The outside has become shabby so it is excellent to see some improvement.

I don’t know of any Italian websites. You could try placing your question on the Bagni di Lucca Community page or Bagni di Lucca Cuore on Facebook. Quite a lot of people see those pages.
