It is a real pity the trees have gone. I believe many of them were diseased and had to be cut down, but it would be good to see more planted.
Yes, it was prettier before; however, I guess that the provision of parking in the area was also necessary. In any case, a bit of landscape could improve the whole area.
It would be great to see a few more trees planted. The ones that were planted along the river at Ponte a Serraglio are doing well. They were put in the year we bought our apartment and they are quite tall now.
