We can say that it is one of the most beautiful pools IN THE WORLD!!! Another great asset that Bagni di lLucca offers.
The pool is stunning…we are very lucky to have it.
WOW! Our pool hasn’t opened yet!!!! Still cool and rainy, like an early autumn days… Thank you dear Debra, have a nice weekend, love, nia
We have had some very hot days here. It is a bit overcast right now, but I’m sure it will pass.
We are just waiting for the sun so that we can try it out, they have spent a lot of money on new chairs ect so we can’t wait.
I’m sure we will be back to sunny days soon.
Whats the weather like over there? Its normally nice and warm by now. We love that Pool as do so many people; so many hot sunny days in the past have been spent in or around it.
Its a great place is Bagni, and such a pleasure to return and see familiar faces around that Pool. The Circolo and Borghesi both re-opened, ……sounds just like old times.
We have had some really hot weather. We have a bit of rain now, but it is still warm.
Yay!!
Now that’s a pool setting.
Hi
We are on our way on Wednesday ! Is the pool open this year? I soooo want to come and visit it!
Yes, the pool is open. Have a great time.
Fab! And do you know if it easy to get to with a 6 year old from Lucca by bus? Thank you!
I sent an email with some bus details, and yes, it is not difficult. Catch the bus in Lucca at Piazzale Verdi and take the bus all the way to La Villa. The pool is near Villa Ada, the big yellow building that sits above La Villa. It should only take about 10 minutes to walk there from the bus stop.
Thank you so much. I realise that you did send an email and I sorry to have troubled you – have been that caught up in last minute planning! Best wishes and thank you again – we’re really looking forward to exploring the area!
Hello. Please could you post info re how best to get to the pool from Lucca on public transport? Patricia
As I said in the previous comment. Catch the bus in Piazzale Verdi. There is also a bus stop in front of the train station. It is on the road at the front of the park. Take the bus all the way to the last stop in La Villa, the administrative centre of Bagni di Lucca. You will go through Fornoli and Ponte a Serraglio on the way. It takes about 50 minutes to get from Lucca to Bagni di Lucca.
The pool is in the grounds of Villa Ada, the big yellow building above the village. Walk up past the English Church into Via Evangelina Whipple and walk uphill to the end. You will see a big building with horses on the front. Beside this you will see a large gate. Walk through and walk up about 50 metres and the entrance to the pool is on the right.
Click the link to the original post about the pool for more photos. At the bottom of the post is the phone number of the pool. If you need details of opening times you should call them.
At the top of the page you will see “Getting There”. Click that to see general information about getting to Bagni di Lucca.
