The annual art competition will take place this Sunday 13th July in the grounds of the Villa Fiori at Ponte a Serraglio.
The day will begin at 8.00am. Lunch will be at 12.30 with delicious produce from the area. There will be games and painting for children and the competition will be judged at 6.00pm.
It is always a great day. Here are some photos from past years.
Don’t miss Colori e Saperi..head off to Villa Fiori to watch the artists at work and have some summer fun in Ponte a Serraglio.
Pity you can’t be there.
Yes, it is, but I have to return home sometime.
This was such a great event last year….sorry we won’t be in Ponte a Serraglio again this year to enjoy the day. Hope it is a lovely sunny day for the artists and visitors to the village.
I hope everyone has a great day.
thank you Debra….wish you were here!!!!
I wish I was ther too,
Just as you said, Debra, it is always a great event.
One year I might be there to see it.
Love the way the artists pick their spots to paint their versions of the scenes before them. I like the water colour picture second from the bottom. Hope the day will smile on everyone on Ponte a Serraglio next week….:)
It is a fun event, everyone seems to enjoy it.
Great post great photos looks to be a great time wish I could come there for it!!!
Thank you
It is a fun day, I hope you can make it one day.
It looks wonderful. I wish I could be there to enjoy the day too! I guess the weather should be lovely this time of year. We’re having heat here in Atlanta…going over 90 F. in the afternoons.
I much prefer the cooler weather. I’m going to lunch with a friend for my birthday today (b’day is 7/11) to one of my favorite restaurants, “Alpine Bakery” It’s got great Italian food and wonderful desserts! Have fun at the festival.
Ciao!
Marilyn
It can be quite hot in Bagni di Lucca in summer too. I prefer cooler weather, which is why I return to Australia for lively winter in Brisbane. I would love to be at the art competition…one day.
Beautiful photos, Debra, the memories of our wonderful trip brighten up our Tassie winter days
I miss Ponte a Serraglio too, as I always do when I come home. I hope all is well in Tasmania.
Love all the different impressions of Ponte, really amazing.
It is fun to see the different interpretations of Ponte.
