Someone has created a piece of rock art in the river bed at Ponte a Serraglio.
I wonder how long it will last…not very long if this rain keeps up and the river rises again.
…I didn’t have long to wait to find out. I wrote this post last night and this morning I woke up to see the river had risen. I looked out of my window and saw that the rocks were still standing, but by the time I grabbed my camera and ran outside it had been washed away. I’m glad I took photos.
This is amazing, amazing… and you captured so beautiful photographs… Thank you dear Debra, have a nice weekend, love, nia
We have had heavy rain all day today and it shows no signs of going away any time soon. I hope someone rebuilds the rock tower.
Love it! A pity it’s gone now. That has given me a few ideas…
I think we should have a rock art festival at Ponte a Serraglio. It could be fun.

Great to see people getting creative already. We are having a sculpture symposium by the river in July 🙂 Jaqueline and Jake
I hope the Art Festival in Bagni di Lucca is a roaring success.
How beautiful! The seasons have changed in the UK too, we are experiencing a white Easter and are being treated to snow sculptures. I’m afraid I haven’t captured them on film. Happy Easter Debra. Andrea x
Happy Easter to you too. It is bucketing down here…again.
fantastic idea….
I hope some more appear.
Super good, real cool….Nordic in nature, love it.
I am tempted to climb down to the river and build something myself.
