I have no idea, but frittelle is involved so it must be good!!!!
Beautiful!!!
I just love the back of the English church with the magnolias framing the windows.
Beautiful! I’d missed the one by the English church, will have to go for a look.
Love this.
Thank you!
So beautiful photographs fascinated me. Thank you dear Debra, with my love, nia
I love the magnolia flowers.
me too dear Debra, and reminds me my summer days in Istanbul when I was a young girl…. 🙂
In Brisbane we have jacarandas in spring. They are covered in gorgeous lilac flowers before the leaves come later.
What a perfect way to welcome Spring….I love the Italian way of keeping pace with the seasons. The pink of the flowers with the facade of the church behind works beautifully debra. Brava.
It is a pity the season is so short.
Short but sweet!
This year we have had little rain, so they have not been washed away as they have in other seasons.
Looks absolutely lovely! Magnolias are over in Tokyo but over there they are waiting for the sakura, cherry blossom. Just as incredible. Have never sen magnolias quite this huge though.
The conditions are obviously perfect for magnolias here.
Stunning photos – can you tell by my name that I’m crazy about magnolias? Here in Toronto they are just starting to bloom and I watch for them eagerly on my evening walk.
The trees a re beautiful for a few weeks in spring. Ours must be a bit earlier than yours.
Oh dear Debra, Jacaranda, it is amazing, so beautiful. We have in this city, rarely, I think in some of special parks/gardens… Thank you, with my love, nia
Hi Debra, another great post with absolutely beautiful photos.
Is there another walking association there , or this is just a one of ?
I had a look at the Gruppo Trekking Pegaso’s program for this
year and this is not part of it.
I’m very disappointed that we are going to miss on their walks.
They have one on the 15/10 , which is the day after we leave
Bagni di Lucca.
We are still planing to do some trekking on our own.
It just would be so much enjoyable to do it with some locals.
I really look forward to your posts, they make me enjoy my
holiday there , six months before I arrive !!!!
Gruppo Pegaso is the only trekking group I know of. Jim walks with them sometimes. I’ll ask around and see what I can find out.
Thank you Debra, it’s very kind of you , but
I didn’t mean for you to be spending time on this.
