It has been reported that Villa Fiori in Ponte a Serraglio has been sold. It seems an English man will revive this lovely old building and turn it into a hotel.
It will be excellent to see the building saved. It has been fading fast in the last couple of years, especially after a tree fell on the roof.

I hope the diver in the garden can be saved. I love her. It has been awful seeing her disintegrate.

I wish the new owner the best! I can’t wait to see Villa Fiori alive again,
This is such great news Deb. Looking forward to your posts as they progress the restoration of this gorgeous building.
It is excellent news. I hope work starts while I am there. It will be fun to see the vill being renewed,
This is fantastic. I hope this project will get all the support it deserves.
Me too! I will require lots of money and hard work.
Wonderful! I would happily be a patron!
It has been difficult watching Villa Fiori fall into disrepair. It will be fun to watch it coming back to life.
What a very beautiful place and lovely diver! She is so unusual and fascinating. I will look for this place when I am there in May/June.
Villa Fiori is easy to find in Ponte a Serraglio. I will be there in a few weeks and am excited about this sale. I hope to see some work begin this spring.
Hi!
Five years ago we visited Bagni di Lucca and I really fell in love with this wonderful, fantastic house. This summer we are going there again this time with the whole family and we will definitely walk around this beautiful house. So nice that it will now be used for something good and not just sit and decay.
Best of luck.
I think it will take a few years for the renovation and new build to be completed, but it good news that the house has a new owner who will bring it back to life. I wish him luck and look forward to seeing the results.
Hello Debra, thank you for this update! The villa is a very prominent feature in town, this will be a huge upgrade for everyone! Happy to hear this, and curious to see the result. Best wishes to you, Henny
I think it is excellent. Watching the Villa deteriorate has been sad. It will be great to see it revived.
