Just past Ponte Diana,on the Brennero road towards Abetone, is a track that takes you to a suspension bridge that gives access to a stony beach beside the Lima. Now that the weather is warming up it is a great time to look for it.
There is a rock to jump from into the river.
Beside the river there is a track leading to Pian di Fiume where there is a kiosk.

It is a lovely place to be in the summer.
The spot is beautiful and the water so clear but I bet it is cold still this time of the year.
I’m sure the water is very cold right now and probably doesn’t get much warmer in summer, but it is great to jump into cold weather on a hot day.
Perfect way to cool down.
