This weekend there will be an event at Villa Fiori park in Ponte a Serraglio…memories of the war, by the Linea Gottica Association. A documentary about the Lucca area in WWII will be shown at the casino at 6.00pm on Saturday.
I don’t have a lot of information other than the poster, but it should be interesting.

I think that the documentary on Saturday refers to the First World War, as “Grande Guerra” is the Italian expression used for this particular war. The event on Sunday, including the exhibition of vehicles is about WW2. In any case, it is good to remember both together as they are closely related. Let’s hope we do not get dragged into the Third one…..
