I arrived from Australia to find my daffodils have appeared on the balcony. I planted a couple of bulbs a few years ago and they have multiplied.
They are such cheery little flowers and have clearly been enjoying the rain.
Soon I will plant pansies on the bridge.
Welcome back!
Thank you. I hope we catch up soon.
I’m sure there are many happy people ready to welcome you on your return! The daffodils are a great start. I’m looking forward to enjoying your lovely pansies on the bridge.
I planted the pansies today. I hope they grow quickly.
Glad to hear that you arrived. Enjoy your stay.
And the daffodils are looking great!
I’m here for 4 months. It will fly past I know.
Beautiful!
Daffodils are such happy flowers.
Such a delightful welcome home, and yes, they look lovely
I can’t believe how much they have grown. I will have to divide them soon.
What beautiful daffodils, I’m not far behind you, I arrive 18 March, it will be lovely to meet up for a coffee and a chat.
Excellent! We have a date for coffee.
Lovely flowers! We are looking forvard to back 17 March ( if you still remember us)))
Mark and Olga.
Of course I remember you! I look forward to seeing you soon.
What a jocular welcome waiting for you on your arrival – the daffodils sure are a dazzling sight at Ponte a Serraglio. I love the raindrops clinging on the petals and stems, a tribute to your keen photographic skills. Your balcony is famous for its pretty display of flowers and the pansies on the bridge, too. Enjoy the next few months in Italy. La Dolce Vita!
My four months will go quickly. There is always so much to do here.
beautiful….saw your pic on instagram too 🙂 …..so colorful!
I love my daffodils.
The wetness, the cloudy day, and the background in the first photo help amplify the flowers.
It is a great view from my balcony. The flowers help.
They look so lovely. I’m in Bagni di Lucca enjoying a hot chocolate in this chilly February weather!
Are you coming to the curry night tonight?
What a lovely sight to welcome you back. Enjoy your stay.
I love daffodils – such happy little yellow flowers for not much work 😊
