My previous post on Guzzano was in late winter. The village looks great in all seasons, but I thought some early summer photos would be in order.
Guzzano is just 10 minutes drive from La Villa on the road up to San Cassiano and Montefegatesi. The views are stunning from the village.
A walk along the narrow lanes reveals some lovely houses and gardens.
The little church is dwarfed by the gorgeous tree in front of it.
The budding fruit on the trees and vines would have ripened by now and some of it already eaten…delicious.
Another visit in autumn is in order.
Guzzano is beautiful throughout the seasons. Great photos!
Thank you, I love the mountain villages.
Such a beautiful village ❤
Summer is a beautiful time to be in the mountains.
Really is. I am sure winters must be pretty too. Hot chocolate and a book <)
I remember that drive up to San Cassiano. The views are gorgeous just like everywhere in BdL. I would love to sink my teeth in to those figs. Once again your photos are beautiful.
They certainly are gorgeous views. I think they are young pears in the photo. I am hoping there will be some figs on my trees at Casa Debbio right now.
Yes I wasn’t sure if they were in fact figs. Enjoy your figs at Casa Debbio. The best figs I have eaten were in Italy
Another lovely mountain village in Bagni di Lucca. Beautiful views.
So pretty!
