Spring will soon be here and that will be great…but I do like the winter landscapes, especially the lovely mists that swirl in and around the mountains.
I don’t have to go far to see the misty views. From my balcony, or from the bridge below, Granaiola puts on a fine show on winter mornings.
It is raining now, which is good for my flowers. So far we haven’t had the predicted heavy falls…and we don’t want them.
Hope my friends in granaiola haven’t turned into. Ghosts too!
I am sure they are all fine up there. It is a beautiful place.
It is quite mystical.
It certainly looks that way right now.
Those misty views make me thing of soup, Zuppa Lucchese, with lots of farro. I really want to go there when its cold.
I like winter here, but I am looking forward to spring.
Cold, misty air is my favourite perfume! I love the daffodils dressed in rain drops, how lovely.
I love the mists too, and the view changes constantly.
Quite a ghostly scene! Our resident ghost, Chiarello, would enjoy that! Great photos!
A ghost at the mill…how interesting
Lovely to see the village peeking out of the cloud and mist from Ponte a Serraglio. And I’m sure the yellow daffodils make you feel cheery every if the rain is around.
I planted a couple of bulbs in my pots years ago and they come up in greater numbers every year…clever little things.
Beautiful photos. Love the ghostly landscapes, and the spring rain daffodils. 🙂
I’m sure everyone here is longing for spring, but the last of the winter mists make things interesting.
Yes I agree! 🙂
I love mountains shrouded in mist, too. The brightness of the daffodils makes one feel very cheery, indeed, with the great expectancy of Spring around the corner. Those daffodils are particularly pretty – they look like little maidens encased in their umbrellas.
I love my little daffodils.
