Mushrooms everywhere Posted on November 3, 2012 by Debra Kolkka Autumn is a season for mushrooms. These mysterious funghi have been appearing in the forests around Bagni di Lucca for weeks. I wouldn’t dare pick any of these……leave it to the experts. Share this:TwitterFacebookMoreEmailPinterestPrintLinkedInLike this:Like Loading... Related
I totally agree…as they say “better safe than sorry”.
I wouldn’t be game to pick any of them.
So many varieties! Aren´t they beautiful? 🙂
I think they are fascinating.
They are 🙂 I guess the secret is knowing which are safe to eat and which are (potentially) harmful.
I will leave it to the experts.
I love mushrooms, but would never be tempted to eat a wild one, or even pick one, scaredy cat 🙂
I like to buy them from the market or shop.
I love the sight of them and the taste of the most known ones! 🙂
The local porcini mushrooms are delicious.
Invasion of the Mushroom People!
There were little armies of them in some places.
that’s the impression I got–armies comin’ to get us! remember the Pod People?!
I love the tiny ones in clumps.
I imagine that the air was moist and heavy where those clumps were….
Those tiny ones look like (I can’t remember name) that are often found in stir-fry.
They do look lovely… and dangerous. I find them exquisite, but I prefer to buy them from a reliable source.
Me too, I don’t pick, I buy.
