  1. Hi Debra,

How are the people in Bagni di Lucca rejoicing over Jasmine Paolini winning the Gold Medal for Italy in the women’s tennis doubles today with Sara Errani? I’ll bet they do something very nice for her. Please let us know about the celebration, with photos, if possible.

    Ciao.

    James

    • Everyone in Bagni di Lucca is delighted with Jasmine. There are signs up in the town. Her match was on a big screen at the tennis club and in the Teatro Accademico.

If I was in Bagni di Lucca I would have been at one of them.

I’m sure there will be celebrations for her. Perhaps I can find out and send a friend along to take photos.

I will be back in Bagni di Lucca late September.

      • Hi Debra,

Thanks for letting me know what’s going on in Bagni di Lucca. Here’s a photo from the Olympics. I’m happy for Jasmine and Sara. [image: Screenshot (91).png] Cheers!

        James
