I’ve never figured out how the showers work though so it’s just as well there is no chlorine in the pool.

Hi Can i get there from central Lucca on public transport/ taxi?
There is a bus from Lucca to Bagni di Lucca leaving from Piazzale Verde. Take the bus to the final stop and then it is a short walk to the pool. You will need to ask someone for directions, most people know where it is. There is a delay in opening the pool this year. When I hear of an opening date I will put it on the blog. You could try calling the Comune of Bagni di Lucca for more information.
