On Saturday night the road was closed and there was a wonderful street party.
The artists exhibiting for the first weeks include…

Melissa Moore
Gianmarco Caselli
Jacolo da San Martino
Selby Hickey
David Finkbeiner
Michael Hanning
Thank you to my lovely friends Kerry and Moira for taking photos for us. I wish I had been there to join in the fun. I’m sure the next couple of months are going to be exciting in Ponte a Serraglio.
Congratulations to Jaqueline and her team for a successful opening to a very welcome event. For more information on the Art Festival please take a look at their website.www.artfestivalbagnidilucca.org
Oh, man, wish I was there!
Me too!
A great initiative and I wish success to all of them. Thank you Kerry and Moira for the lovely photos.
It is a great idea, and it looks as though everything is going well.
There are also the exhibiting artists at La Rondine Gallery, Tony Scott, Dick & Wayne Warren from China Art Projects in Hong Kong and Beijing. The Sculpture Symposium, Ryoichi Suzuki, Sarah Danays, Douglas Robinson, Petra Boshart, Michael Cartwright – All part of the festival.
Thank you for the extra information. I wish I was there to be part of it.
It was fascinating to see the hive of activity when I was in Ponte in both May & June. It’s wonderful to the results of all that hard work. A really good reason for a party! I’m sure this is the start of something big.
It looks like fun. I am looking forward to seeing the festival u fold from afar.
I’m so glad you have some photos. I was there after dark and my camera is hopeless with night time. Was a great evening. I particularly loved Melissa Moore’s photos.
I think it is wonderful for Ponte a Serraglio to have this happening.
